UltraLITE are revolutionary headsets that eclipse all other full duplex systems for performance and convenience because the transceiver is built right inside the ear cup. This self-contained, “All in One” design eliminates wires and belt worn radios. And since UltraLITE do not require complicated base stations users can remain in constant full duplex voice contact even while on the move.
​​​​​​​Standard UltraLITE intercoms provide instantaneous wireless communications for crews that need to communicate without pushing buttons. At the heart of these systems is a specialty base or “MAIN” headset that relays the digital signals generated by up to four “Remote” units. The resulting open line talking pattern allows up to 5 people to talk simultaneously so they can continue working with their hands. Available in packages of single and double ear!

Programming Tips:
When programming a
repaired
or
replaced
unit, the “Main” headset needs to be
Cleared
before a “Remote” UltraLite can be paired. Follow the steps below to clear the “Main”. All Remote headsets should be “OFF” before starting this process.
To clear the "Main" headset:
​​​​​​​1.  Install battery in “Main” headset and turn power switch “ON”.
2.  Press and
hold
programming button (Blue LED) on “Main” headset for five seconds. The LED will begin flashing blue/red.
3.  Press the programming button (Blue LED) 7 times. The LED will begin to blink blue. The “Main” headset is now cleared and is ready to be paired to a Remote headset or UltraPak belt pack.
Each “Main” headset can have a maximum of 4 remote UltraLite /UltraPak paired.
The power button on the
main
headset is different than on the remote headsets.

Q: Why isn't the power button on my main headset working?
A:  The master (or main) headset has an on/off
switch
located below the battery compartment. The main headset power button is recessed to protect against accidental activation, and differs from the remote headsets (which have a silicone power button near the volume controls.)
Q: Can I mute my headset?
A:   Yes, swiveling the boom to the "up" position will automatically mute the microphone.
Q: Do the headsets accept phone calls and/or play music via Bluetooth?
A:  No, the headsets are not equipped with Bluetooth and only talk to each other.
Q: Do I need an FCC license to use these?
A:  No, an FCC license is not required.
Q: Can I add additional headsets?
A:  Yes, the headsets are field-programmable and you can add additional headsets at any time. Each master headset can support 4 total additional remote headsets.

Q: How long does a charge last?
A:  The charge lasts approximately 6 hours. To preserve optimal charge, the batteries need to be removed from the headsets and put back in back in the charging unit after every use.
